AFSP National Survivors of Suicide Conference

 

On November 21, 2009 from 11:00am-2:00pm at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing the local chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide will be hosting the National Survivors of Suicide Day conference including local speakers on suicide and suicide prevention and a live webcast of a national panel discussion.

 

Local speakers at this event will include Dr. Ann Mitchell Associate Professor of Nursing at the University of Pittsburgh and President of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Pittsburgh Chapter, Christy Stuber, Executive Director of CONTACT Pittsburgh and Katelyn King, a student at the University of Pittsburgh who is a survivor of suicide.
